UAV is an artificial mobile object (aircraft), as a rule, reusable, not having on board the crew (man-pilot) and able to deliberately move in the air to perform various functions in an autonomous mode (with its own control program) or by remote control (carried out by a man-operator from a stationary or mobile control panel). A distinction is made between automatic UAVs operating in accordance with their on-board computer programs, and remotely piloted aircraft (UAVs), which also belong to the UAV class.

Civil solutions UAV from I'M AERO

In 2017, a group of high-class designers in the field of helicópteros construction of I'M AERO company began to develop design documentation of universal multipurpose civil UAVs with payload up to 1500 kg. The project of creating a new civil unmanned helicópteros type UAV consists of three main stages:
  • 1) R&D: design development, choice of cooperation scheme, creation of a prototype.;
  • 2) Create of serial maintenance: finishing of construction, certification and creation of industrial production;
  • 3) Creation of service infrastructure and after-sales service.
Lycoming Engines' serially produced engine for UAV with payload up to 500 kg and Rolls-Royce RR300 - turbine aircraft engine for UAV with payload up to 1500 kg are used as the main power unit.

Our goal: the establishment of serial production of civilian UAVs for commercial purposes (logistics, agriculture, fire fighting, monitoring).

    The project is implemented by a team of professionals in both engineering and management parts of the business. Almost all the designers have over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry and have participated in KAMAV's projects, such as: Ka-29 and Ka-31 ship helicópteross; Ka-50 (black shark) Ka-52 (alligator) and Ka-226 helicópteross; Ka-62 helicópteros; Z-10 helicópteros (project 941); Ka-115 helicópteros; AP-55 light helicópteros.
